A second monthly meeting!
Well, Since many cannot make it on Tuesdays, Including me now. I have decided to make a second monthly meetup. This one on the 4th monday of every month Starting with August.
At the moment, this will just be designed for people to come and eat/drink but if someone is keen to give a talk on this day we can orgaise that.
We will have it starting normal time as the other ones although you can rock in early if you wish.

Anything happening with this? A date around the middle of the month would be good. I like the no speaker for the second meetup.

It should be the 4th week of every month now considering Skeptics is now on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Why not also go parasitic on the Akd Museum Ins monthly meets @ the Horse & Crap? I do not mean supplant it, but turn up at the same place and time. I've gone to them for the past two years- usually interesting speakers, but the audience is scanty and usually made up of semi-geriatrics. Piggybacking on to them needs to official approval, would help their numbers- and they organise stuff. Also, parking there is easier than at Parnell or Ponsonby.

Thursday sounds good... Did anyone ever asks for special deals in the pubs? The couchsurfers got 5 dollar for beer, wine etc. deals at the places where they go =)
