And I hope at least some of you are as excited about the first Auckland Skeptics in the Pub meetup as I am!

I think it would be amiss of me to try and influence the direction of the meetup group too much so I think the best idea for Thursday night would be to sort out things like:

1) How often we want to meet up
2) How people want to get involved (in the organisation etc)
3) Ideas for future speakers/events
4) What people want from the group

Obviously in amongst that we'll have our fantastic guest Kylie Sturgess who will share some pearls of skeptical wisdom with us, as well as an opportunity for us all to introduce ourselves to the group.

Oh, and don't forget a few nibbles - enough people were willing to cough up a few dollars that there will be a couple of hundred bucks of food and more can be ordered if needed - and a beer or two!

If anyone has any other ideas on things we need to do to kick ASitP off in style, then let me know via e-mail or via the group.
