Hi All,
I missed the last meetup, and was thinking that 8 weeks is a long time to wait! Would anyone else be keen on doing a catchup in between the normal meetup? CHCH SkitP do a fortnightly meet alternating the days, so that if you can't one you can still participate in the other? Also those people that don't get much computer time, or are not as with it as others would be able to help a bit more? I'm just keen to meet with a few more people. |

Sounds like a good idea to me. Unfortunately I have another meeting also on the first Thursday of the month which I cannot get out of, so it clashing with this meeting. Something at a different time would be good for me, and may also suit others.
Also what may be worth considering is a group outing or social event, if something of skeptical interst come along, something like Tim Minchin who is here next month (12 Dec). |

One of the reasons for an extra meeting was that some people can't make it on Thursdays...
I'd suggest third Wednesday or something like that... It just needs someone to take charge and book the venue, facilitate / run the meeting etc. (organize speakers if necessary...) If someone wants to step up, Craig or I can do the Meetup, or we can make you an organizer. Let me know. |

I'd love to be an organiser, but i have discovered that I just don't have the necessary motivation to organise stuff at that level.
I will however turn up at every event (except ones that conflict with something family related), and help in any other way that I can. Col |
