Hi everyone
I'm new to Auckland and caught Natural Ange on bfm yesterday for the first time. Would anyone like to join me in a campaign to get her off the air, or at least followed by a Bad Science type feature to counter the nonsense she spouts? I'm wondering how much she pays for such an 'advertorial' and why it isn't labelled as such. Siouxsie PS Apologies for not making it to the meet-up tomorrow but my husband found you guys first and he has the night-out pass while I stay home and toddler-sit. |

Yes please. It isn't labelled as an advertorial because the DJ (Mikey Havoc again!) believes in it. She's been on for years.

Never heard of her...
What does she do? |

It's a terrible segment, I can't listen to that station any more because of it. She is a total quack giving out shonky health/medical advice to callers who phone in with their ailments.

They also have a tarot card reader on one of the early afternoon shows.
I know the production manager at the b and have e-mailed him with my concerns about these slots. I have also enquired about getting a skeptical segment at some point on one of the shows. I'll keep you updated on this. |

I've talked to my friend at bFM and he's behind a skeptical segment 100%, so he will forward my email on to some of the presenters and see if any of them are keen.
This is very promising. |

That's fantastic! And I didn't even have to protest outside the bfm offices.
