Is there a meetup planned for next thursday? I haven't heard from Mike in a while.

I don't mind organising this if Mike is unavailable.

I was going to ask if anyone wanted to just show up and hang out anyway, but if you want to make some ecquiries and see if we can get the room (and if we'd have to pay for it) that'd be a bonus...

If not then we could just show up. We won't get a private room (probably) but we can still hang out and talk (as best you can in a crowded pub).

Does anyone else have any suggestions for somewhere else?

Anyone want to offer a house or office (just afor a once-off)?

Yeah, let's not lose momentum, even though it's getting close to Christmas. Although, the "January" one would be on New Years Eve if we stick to a strict 4 week schedule! Probably not a good night!

Strictly speaking the 1st Thursday in Jan will be the 7th, so that should be plenty of time to recover (for most people)...

I e-mailed Mike on Friday but haven't heard back. Not sure who can do the meetup thing. But i'll be there on thursday, about 6 for an early beer.
