we would need to take into account the availalbility of the organisers of our events - without whose efforts the events wouldn't happen - the selected day - must suit them - otherwise it will be hands up for new organisers ... and the results are in. In the early running Monday and Tuesday were clear leaders, with Monday taking a slight lead mid-race. Tuesday reined it in, leaving the pair neck-a-neck as they rounded the final bend. At the very last stretch Monday's superior breeding and youthful exuberance shone through, and it crossed the line victorious. The crowd roared. An honorable mention must be made of Wednesday, which came from nowhere in the last half of the race to almost steal third place from the ever-reliable Thursday -- much to the concern of many pundits. The final placing are, of course, in the hands of the Race Marshals. Monday 76.2% Tuesday 66.7% Wednesday 47.6% Thursday 52.4% Friday 14.3% Hope this helps, even if the results weren't especially surprising. Cheers Kerry |

Hi Everybody
I think the consensus is that Monday or Tuesday nights would be fine. I personally can't do Wednesday nights, and would probably prefer Tuesday. (Oh, and I'd already put a Poll on this site (it's under the More menu) - but only 9 people voted - I guess it's not that visible.) Anyway, I've got an email from The Windsor offering us the use of their companion bar (The Juice Bar) on Tuesday nights. So, as I'm the organiser I think we'll go ahead with that and give it a try.
