Auckland Skeptics in the Pub Message Board › Auction: Orcon credit. Ends Friday August 20, 2010

A raffle prize at the NZ Skeptics conference, donated by Orcon, was a package of 6 months broadband & phone (to the value of $100 per month – so total package value $600). This is available either to a new subscriber, or as a credit of $600 to the balance of an existing subscriber.
The winner of this prize lives in Wellington and is unable to claim the prize. I suggested we auction it on this forum. So I propose a standard open auction. Please reply to this thread with your bids. The winner will be the highest bid at 12:00 on Friday August 20, 2010. I hope the auction can be conducted in a sensible and mature way. It is implicit that the person who makes the highest bid should actually pay up. I reserve the right to disqualify any bid or bidder who pisses me off. If you have any queries then contact me (Steven Galbraith). And, yes, I have heard of trade-me. |

Ummmmm . . . if no-one posts by 12:00 then I'll keep the auction going until Sunday night.

I'm with Orcon, so I'd offer say $300 (50-50 split with the winner)...

Sad when you can't even give a prize away!

Auction closed. Winner Steve Taylor. Winning bid $300.
Steve -- I can't find your email address on the stupid AUT website. Find mine on the sensible Auckland Uni maths department website and get in touch. Thanks! |
